Application Support - 2nd Line Software Support Analyst:

Resolving and managing Tafmis Software Support problems. Providing application support to Tafmis users in the form of telephone advice and 'hands-on' corrective action using Microsoft SMS or VNC. Refer faults that cannot be resolved within the Application Support Team to the appropriate development team and manage the Incident through the development team to ensure the call is closed promptly and that the user is updated on progress. Manage call queues using the in-house Helpdesk application and ensure regular feedback is given to users. Assist other members of the team with diagnosis of repetitive problems and trend analysis. Windows NT and XP, SQL Server 6.5.

Tafmis R (H) Project - Senior Test Engineer:

Preparation of test plans and schedules. Integration and system testing of web based software. Regression Testing. Test Environments preparation. Fault reporting using in-house bug tracking system. I also redeveloped the bug tracking system by familiarizing myself with MS Access VBA Language. Working to standard for quality systems ISO 9001.

 

Tafmis R (H) Project - Change Manager:

Installation of the product on customer sites and on-site support. This involved rebuilding desktops and laptops. PC Virtual Memory upgrades. Installing memory cards. Producing site progress reports and liaison with helpdesk, management and development to help resolve customer queries and problems. Working to standard for quality systems ISO 9001. This involves traveling to customer sites, some of which were Nottingham, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Shrewsbury, Liverpool and London.

 

CRIS Project - Senior Test Engineer:

Responsible for 6 Test Engineers. Preparation of weekly status reports, allocation of work packages to Test Engineers, and the Monitoring and reporting of team progress to management. Preparation of test procedures using Rational RequisitePro. Manual integration and system testing of Internet based police crime reporting system. Windows NT and 2000, Internet Explorer 5.5 and SQL Server. Set-up of automated test environment. Automation of test procedures using Rational TestSuite. Automated regression testing using Rational TestSuite.

CRIS Project - Test Specialist:

Responsible for the implementation of automated testing on the project. This role involved producing an automated test strategy. Producing automated test process documentation. Test management in accordance with the EDS CRIS Release 10 quality system. Reporting of automated test status to the Test Manager. Resolution or escalation to the Test Manager of automated test issues. Review and authorization of Automated test scripts. Ensuring that automated test scripts are updated to include new functionality. Tasking and support of automation test team members. Production and maintenance of automated test scripts. Working to standard for quality systems ISO 9001.
